Repent and seek forgiveness
First, they see that they are tempted once or twice in every year, then they do not repent and do not remember them.
Do good deeds
Solar eclipses, lunar eclipses and earthquakes are the signs of Allah through which Allah warns us of His punishment so that we refrain from misdeeds and sins, so on such occasions, we should perform repentance and forgiveness, prayers and charity. As the Prophet ﷺ said in the hadith of Kasuf:
Another hadith mentions dua, takbeer, prayer and charity.
Hafiz Ibn Hajar, may Allah have mercy on him, writes in his explanation of this hadith:
From this it is known that the order to hasten in dhikr, supplication, seeking forgiveness, etc. is not specific to solar and lunar eclipses, because the signs are not specific to solar and lunar eclipses, but general.
Be kind to the poor and needy
During calamities, miseries, floods and earthquakes, treat the poor and needy with special mercy and compassion. Rasulullah ﷺ said:
Have mercy, have mercy, and forgive, and God will forgive you. (Al-Sillah Al-Saheeh: 482, and Sahih Al-Jami’: 897) Hadhrat Abdullah bin Amr bin As, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "Have mercy, you will be shown mercy, be merciful to people, and Allah will forgive you." Doom for those who hear from one ear and expel from the other, doom for those who persist, who knowingly insist on their sins.”
Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
Helping the distressed
Our great responsibility is also to help our afflicted brothers, spare no effort for their rehabilitation, that is our religious and moral duty and it has a great reward and reward with Allah Ta'ala. At the same time, it is necessary to arrange prayers for forgiveness for the women and men who died in this regard. Since those people have suffered a sudden and accidental death, according to a saying of the Prophet, they are among the martyrs. It is also their right to pray for forgiveness and elevation for them and we should remember them in our prayers.
Allah's favorite deed
Helping suffering humanity at the time of suffering and distress is an act most loved by Allah. Therefore, the Prophet ﷺ said:
Love of people to Allah, benefit them to people, and love of deeds to Allah, the Most High. (Sahih al-Turghib: 2623) The most beloved of people to Allah is the person who gives the most benefit to people. And the most pleasing deed to Allah is the happiness that a Muslim gives to another Muslim, or removes a problem from him, or pays his debt, or satisfies his hunger.
Therefore, we have to stand with our brothers in Syria and Turkey, because at this time they are facing very painful stages and difficult times.
We have to help them as much as possible by participating in their pain and suffering in this critical and difficult time. You can also give this help in the form of financial support.
Allah never disgraces those who help in times of trouble
Remember that Allah never disgraces those who help in times of trouble. As Umm al-Mu'minin Khadija (RA) said to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) at the beginning of the revelation:
Give good tidings, and Allah will not shame you forever, for you will be merciful, and truthful in the hadeeth, and bear the burden of all, and recite the prayer, and be appointed as the vicegerents of the truth. (Sahih al-Bukhari: 4953) Good news for you, by Allah! Allah will never disgrace you. You are the one who gives mercy, you always speak the truth, you bear the burden of the weak and weak, those who do not get anything from anywhere are nurtured by you. You show hospitality and help people in times of trouble.
They bear the burden of the poor themselves, those who do not get anything from anywhere, they raise from here. You show hospitality and help people in times of trouble.
In another hadith, the Prophet ﷺ said:
Arrangement of prayers
On the occasion of earthquakes, repentance, supplication with forgiveness, should be done. Especially observe the morning and evening prayers, which include prayers for protection. Thus, Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (RA) says that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said in the morning and evening. They did not leave these prayers.
This is a great comprehensive prayer, in which there is also the question of the well-being of this world and the hereafter, and the prayer for the well-being of the family, and also the request for refuge from the evil that comes through the creation. And from being caught by the punishment of Allah. Also pray for safety.
Give charity
What you will present to your brothers at the time of trouble and trouble, you will get great good deeds in your deeds in return. Helping people who are in trouble also saves a person from suffering and trouble. So he said.
