Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) narrated the incident of solar eclipse during the blessed reign of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH). It is in this that the Prophet (PBUH) led the people in the prayer of fear, in this prayer he was made to witness Paradise and Hell. After the prayer, he He explained some details about it. In it he said: "I have also seen hell, and I have never seen a (terrible) scene like that which I saw today." And I saw the majority of women in hell. The Companions asked, Messenger of Allah! What is the reason for this? You said, to be ungrateful to them. It was asked, is it ungrateful to Allah? He said: (No) She is ungrateful to her husband and does not acknowledge his kindness. If you continue to be kind to one of them throughout your life, then she sees something from you (which is against her temperament and nature), then she will say, I have never seen a Sikh with you.
In this hadith, there is a description of a great weakness of women and that is the ingratitude of the husband. A woman is a man's life partner and travel partner. There are ups and downs in life and situations. Justice and morals require that sometimes a man gets stuck in difficulties and a period of hardship comes over him, so even in such situations, a woman should support the man in the same way as she used to support him during the period of happiness and complain. Don't break a man's heart or add to his troubles.
Women who behave in the opposite way, and even in poverty, their attention remains only on their clothes, their ornaments and their comforts and conveniences, and when they are lacking, they increase the problems of men by complaining and complaining. cause This is injustice and ungratefulness of husbands, which Allah dislikes, and this attribute is so displeasing to Him that Allah Almighty will put such women in hell.
Therefore, it is important that virtuous women, women who wish to go to heaven, should keep this hadith of the Messenger in front of them at all times and should be ungrateful to their husbands and not ungrateful to Allah on any occasion, because these two ingratitudes will lead them to hell. can cause Rather, it is better that this hadith of the Prophet ﷺ should be kept in front of the Prophet ﷺ on the occasion of deprivation and poverty, in which the Prophet ﷺ said:
Look at those who are inferior to you, do not look at those who are superior to you. In this way, you will not belittle the blessings that Allah has bestowed upon you.”[15]
As inferior and superior worlds. In other words, don't look at the one who is superior to you in terms of worldly wealth and means or outward appearance. In this way, the countless blessings you have received will have no value in your eyes and thus you will be ungrateful to Allah. . On the contrary, when you see people who are shorter than you or worse than you, you will feel the blessings of Allah in your heart and you will thank Allah. This meaning is explained in another hadith as follows.
"When one of you sees a person who is superior to him in terms of wealth, wealth and birth (beauty and beauty), then he should also see a person who is inferior to him (in terms of the above-mentioned statuses)." [16]
In another hadith, the results of the above two aspects of the approach are explained in these words.
Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"There are two traits in which they are present, Allah Almighty writes them with gratitude and patience, and in which they do not exist, Allah does not write them with thanksgiving and patience. Whoever observes a person who is superior to him in matters of his religion, then follows him. And he sees the person who is inferior to him in the affairs of the world, then praises Allah that Allah has given him superiority over him. (To a person with these two qualities) Allah Almighty writes Shakir and Sabir. And whoever sees a person who is inferior to him in the matter of his religion and a person who is superior to him in the matter of the world, and then he does not have (worldly wealth) woe to him. expresses, then Allah Almighty does not write such a person grateful nor patient.''[17]
\In this hadith, the result of the presence or absence of the above-mentioned two traits has been explained, in which the first two traits will be present. It will be on the person and he will follow it by placing it in front of him as a model. Second, that person will also give thanks to Allah because he will always see those who are even more deprived than him, so naturally his tongue will always be filled with words of praise and his heart will be filled with gratitude. will be full of On the contrary, the person who does not have these two traits, he will not arrange much for the observance of religion and law, because there will be models in front of him who are not very religious. Second, this person will always complain about his deprivation and belittle the blessings of Allah, because his idols will be those who are merely worldly and deaf to all kinds of resources.
